The production of bone china generally goes as:  rolling (grouting) molding - plain firing - bone formation - polishing - inspection - glaze application - glaze firing - polishing white porcelain - color spraying (decal, gold painting) - color firing -quality inspection-packing

1.Ingredients: Mix various raw materials in a certain proportion using scientific methods.(bone ash over 30%)

2.Rolling (grouting) molding: This step is the process of making embryos. Circular regular products such as round flat coupe plates and bowls are made by rolling forming; Heterogeneous or irregular products are made by injection molding, such as teapots, mugs and cups, etc. Rolling molding is mechanical, while grouting molding is formed by manual operation or by a grouting machine.

3. De-moulding and plain firing: After moulding, the rolled or grouted products are repaired, inspected, and dried before being put into a plain firing kiln for the first "plain firing". The calcined temperature is around 1320 ℃, and the product is called "bone". The second glaze called "glaze firing", and the barbecue temperature is 1080 ℃. Introduction to plain and glazed kiln furnaces.

4. Grinding bone: Due to the in-smooth surface of the fired bone, it is necessary to use a professional polishing machine to polish it to make it smooth. The qualified products will undergo the next step of glazing work.

5. Glazing: Three methods: manual glazing, mechanical glazing, and mixed glazing.

Mechanical glazing is relatively uniform, and this method is commonly used abroad, but the equipment is relatively expensive, generally for products that are easily glazed.

Artificial glazing is generally used for products that are not easily glazed, and its effect is not as good as mechanical glazing, but it can make up for the shortcomings of mechanical glazing; Artificial glaze is generally applied using a spray gun or hand dipping in the glaze.

6. Second Glazing: The temperature of the barbecue is about 1080 ℃, and the procedure is the same as the first plain roasting process. In order to prevent the deformation of large products during the barbecue process, the imitation "saggar" is specially made. A cage similar to that used for steaming Mantou, namely "saggar", is used to pack it, which can also prevent "falling dirt". The product after firing is called "white porcelain", also known as "plain porcelain".

From the perspective of the flower surface of porcelain, it can be divided into: white porcelain and colored porcelain; Colored porcelain is also divided into decal and golds.

Decal : A method of pre-made floral paper (divided into large and small films) that is soaked in alcohol or water, then peeled off, then affixed to porcelain, followed by color firing.

Gold painting: sub contracting gold, gold painting, carving gold, scraping gold mouth, etc., a kind of manual process.

8. Color firing: This time, another kiln specially designed for baking colored porcelain is used, known as the "roller kiln for baking flowers". The entire barbecue process is divided into: pre heating zone, firing zone, cooling zone, and picking zone. The temperature of color firing is at the exit of the kiln.
